Kevin King: International Project President
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Bible from Philadelphia College of Bible as well as a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Studies and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary. Kevin and his wife Jeanne both have a passion to see the gospel taken to the nations. In 1998, they moved to NYC to help begin NYC International Project (now International Project). For the first 12 years of their ministry, they focused on reaching unreached people groups on NYC campuses, at the United Nations and in various communities. In 2010, Kevin launched the EQUIP program, which focuses on training cross cultural church planters. International Project now has multiple teams reaching unreached people groups in the city. These teams have seen many come to Christ, and a network of churches has been started in NYC and abroad. Ultimately, Kevin’s vision is to see a movement of churches among unreached people groups, starting with diaspora communities in international cities and spreading into least evangelized countries. Kevin and Jeanne live in Harlem.
Steve Miller: Chairman
Steve has been involved with International Project for the last 15 years. Steve grew up in Central Illinois and attended Wheaton College and Bethel Seminary. He and his wife Ann served as missionaries in Guadeloupe and France for 18 years. Steve served as the President of World Team from 1989 to 1995. For the last 15 years, he has been involved in Training and Leadership Development for World Team and national churches and well as mentoring in NYC. Steve and Ann have two married sons and 7 grandchildren. They live in Manhattan.
Tim Clark: Treasurer
Tim has been involved with International Project for the past seven years, ministering to the international student community. Tim graduated from Mt. Vernon Nazarene College in 1990 and went on to receive a master’s degree from The Ohio State University in English Literature. Tim is also Vice President of Operations at MS Project Experts. He lives in Manhattan with his wife Debbie and their two children
Bob Johnstone: Officer
Bob Johnstone grew up in Philadelphia PA and graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He spent most of his career working for the US Navy as a civilian engineer. He was in upper management for the last 15 years of his service with the Navy and directed the work on many of today’s Navy operational aircraft. During this period he also worked at DARPA in Washington DC for 4 years and was the project director on a multimillion-dollar advance weapon system.
Bob was called to serve the Lord in mission with World Team and he worked in organizational development, strategic planning and mentoring the mission’s leadership in business strategies for 20 years after retiring from the Navy. In addition to his work with World Team, Bob served as a consultant in the area of leadership development and planning with several mission agencies and individual leaders. During the last 8 years, he also assisted in the creation of IBEC Ventures Consultant Company. IBEC serves mission agencies and missionaries in their development of “Business as Missions” initiatives. He has 4 married children, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who he enjoys and loves dearly.
Kathy Clarke: Officer
Kathy has been a partner and supporter of International Project for several years. Kathy holds a degree in English Education from Florida State University, a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Colorado Christian University, and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Columbia International University. After serving as a church planter in France for 14 years, Kathy went on to serve as the Coordinator of Pastoral Care for World Team. Over the past several years, she has partnered with EQUIP mentors, advising them on pastoral/counseling issues. Kathy lives in Georgia with her husband, where she has a private counseling practice.
Keith Stokeld: Officer
Keith Stokeld holds a BBA – Accounting from the University of Texas (’84) and a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary (’93), and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant. He worked 14 years in Central Asia, both as a marketplace professional and a missions strategist/team leader.
He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Columbia International University (CIU). He and his wife, Danise (a member of CIU’s College of Intercultural Studies team), eagerly seek opportunities to impart the things they learned to the next generation of goers.
Ellen Livingood: Officer
Ellen is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Bible and Wheaton Graduate School. She served on a local-church staff, in university communications/development, and mission-agency administration. During those years her passion was growing to see the tremendous potential of local churches better engaged to impact the lost world for Christ. This vision led her into 12 years of church mobilization with two agencies. At the same time, she directed a growing missions program at Grace Point Church in Newtown, PA.
In 2005, Ellen launched Catalyst Services to help churches, mission agencies, and networks to more fully use believers’ God-given gifts for global outreach. From a base in suburban Philadelphia, Catalyst serves churches and ministries across North America and, increasingly, around the world.
